Salute Our Troops Rifle Drawing

Another Salute name is drawn...

As you may know we started the "Salute Our Military" Rifle project a year ago to say thank you and recognize our Active Duty military men and women for their service to our country. Shiloh was honored to have MA3 Sara Sargent, a graduate of Big Timber High School draw our winning name.  She just returned home from a tour in Kuwait and was currently home on leave visiting her parents Jeff and Cassie Sargent also of Big Timber.  Sara is a K9 handler in the United States Navy.  She will return to her home base in Greece where she will await orders for a new duty station.

Let us all take a moment of silence to say a prayer for the families who have lost loved ones during their military service and to say thanks to all those who have served and fought wars to proct Our Country!  A thank you to the men and women currently serving.  We would also like to thank Bob Marshall, Everett Wierda, and Robert Bryan for "Saluting our Military" with their war birds and fly over.  God Bless America and God Bless You.

Congratulations to our 2009 Winner...

Kenneth J. Dotson is our winner of the 2nd annual Shiloh “Salute Our Military” Rifle Drawing. Kenneth is a PFC with the United States Army working as an infantryman and just returned from his first tour in Iraq. He is currently stationed at Fort Carson Colorado. Thanks for your service and congratulations Kenneth!

Take a Moment to Thank a Veteran

Take A Moment To Thank A Veteran
When you see someone in a uniform
Someone who serves us all,
Doing military duty,
Answering their country’s call,
Take a moment to thank them
For protecting what you hold dear;
Tell them you are proud of them;
Make it very clear.
Just tap them on the shoulder,
Give a smile, and say,
“Thanks for what you’re doing;
To keep us safe in the USA!”
