NRA Board of Directors Ballots are out

Post by desert deuce »

Friends

As everyone should recall there was an active effort at the top of the NRA and in Competitions Division to move "ALL" competitive shooting out of the NRA.

That movement has been repelled, at least for now, and the main actors are no longer with the NRA. A rebuilding of Competitions Division can now begin.

We, NRA Competitive Shooters, were emplored to ensure that we vote exclusively for competitive shooters to the NRA Board of Directors.

The NRA Member Ballots are in the February 2018 Edition of your NRA Magazine if you are a voting member.

That means that if there are only five candidates that are/were competitive shooters only vote for those five to ensure they are elected to the board. If a candidate lists that they are a competitive shooter or have been involved in competitive shooting and is an unknown in any sport that is no evidence that they were or are in fact a serious competitive shooter to any extent.

The current list of candidates show five serious current or past competitive shooters as candidates.

They are: #1.-- Mrs. Edie P. Fleeman, Durham North Carolina - Five times Small Bore Rifle Prone Women's
National Champion

#2.- Ms. Julie Golob, Kearney, Missouri - World and National Shooting Champion - see her record
runs on you tube

#3.- Mr. Owen Buz Mills, Paulden, Arizona - IPSC National Level Competitor - also on you tube

#4.- Ms. Kim Rhode, Big Bear Lake, California - Six consecutive Olympic Medals Shotgun Sport

#5.- Capt. John C. Sigler, Dover, Delaware - Police Pistol Combat State Champion, Governors
twenty, NASC All-State Team, National F-Class competitor
(I observed Capt. Sigler compete in the F-Class Championships at Phoenix. He is a serious
and current F-class competitor.)
