MVA taqng sight?
Will the #130 short staff reach the rams using the 45-70 cartridge? I use a 527 grain paper patch bullet with 80 grains of OE 1.5fg. And a 535 grooved bullet with 72 grains of 1.5 OE.

It's a pretty basic sight and not your best choice for shooting target rifle or silhouette, but yes it will reach the rams with ease.

Thank 's Woody for the quick reply. I was just thinking about using it on my barrel sighted hunting rifles for accuracy testing and occasionally on gongs out to 600 yards. I think the long staffs would be overkill for this purpose. ( I already have them for midrange and long range).
