I saw a posting somewhere that gave the rough come ups on a MVA sight for 200 to 1000 yards, My load is 540gr bullet, 68.0grs GOEX 2FG CCI BR2 primer in winchester brass. I will have a chance to try it at 600 yards and would appreciate some info on sight come ups with a 200 yard zero. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

AT 200 YARDS; 48 POINTS

AT 300 YARDS: 67 POINTS

AT 500 YARDS: 100 POINTS

This works for me with about the same load.

Thanks Al, Seems like adding 18 or 19 to the previous yardage will get you on paper. Something like 118-120 would put me on paper at 600 yards.

HI,

I shoot with this load, but with Federal Match primer, in Starline brass.

100 meters: zero

200 meters: + 9

300 meters: + 31

500 meters: + 72

600 meters: + 86

700 meters: + 118

800 meters: + 142

900 meters: + 164

That was with a 45-70 Sharps.

Hope that may be of some help.

Thank you Etienne. If I'm adding 18 plus 1 and 19 plus one I come up with 83-84 for six hundred. With my MVA sight I'm at 34 @ 200 18 up, 52 for 300 19 up for 71 at 400 , plus 19 =90 at 500 and 18 up =108 should get me on paper at 600. I'll give 108 or 109 a try and see where I am and then make my corrections from that point.
