Does anyone make a Shooters Line or Range Box that would export to Australia.
Buffalo Arms had a nice one but its been discontinued. Any others out there?

Seems to me some of your native wood would make a fine looking box or range tote. They are not hard to make, a table saw is handy to have though.

Find a local cabinet maker. Surely there is someone in the Brisbane area that would make a box for you. Shipping has become prohibitive on things like a box these days. A $350 box will cost about the same to ship, doubling the cost. Find pic's of something similar online and work with a local to end up with what you want.

Re: wooden shooting box
Thanks for the replies. I was not sure on freight so wanted to get some idea.
The Shiloh box looks good but they state they dont export.
I am not much good with timber. I am an Arc welder, Angle Grinder, Big Hammer kind of guy.
Looks like the best option as suggested would be to try and draw one up and try locally.

Re: wooden shooting box
I just bought the smallest wooden machinist tool box I could find, and then built a pair of V blocks to hold my gun on top. Inside the top tray I made a receptacle from wood at each end that the V blocks drop into. So when I'm traveling I remove them and lay them inside, then just open the lid and drop the two V blocks in.
With all the various drawers it holds all my needed tools, supplies, etc. and I can set the rifle in the blocks to clean or work on; or just rest between shooting.
