Could not agree more. Been practicing it for 13+ years and gets better every day (the occasional health issue notwithstanding).

The heat of course is alway a shock, I was somewhat acclimated by the time the matches started. Even shot a CMP Vintage Snipper match the week before. Something important is not only keep hydrated but to take stuff to replenish what you’re sweating out. And you will sweat a lot. This sort of supplement was provided by the folks that run the match to add to your water.

Water alone won’t do it, and sugar fee additives are necessary, believe me.
