Freund Shiloh
Re: Freund Shiloh
Larry, have you tried taking the forearm off and looking for a gunmaker's mark on the underside of the barrel. That is where my gunsmith puts his name on a custom rifle. Put some pictures up so we can see this unusual firearm. - Mike

Well this is the rifle that keeps on giving. I got home last night, and pulled the forearm stock off this morning. The barrel is stamped with the serial number "BA" and 45-70, nothing else. I am guessing the BA stands for Barreled action. On the stock:
"His Gun" what appears to be a maker mark and "P.L. Sanders" written in black marker. P.L. Sanders, would also be known as BlueJacket. Well blow me down. I pulled the lock off, but there is no mark there, really the only place left would be under the butt plate. Blue died in 2012,RIP.
