.40 cal. PP bullets

Post by flatsguide »

Thought I’d give you fellows a shout. I need to buy about 50 bullets to try out my new rifle. Diameter as cast is .392” to .393”, 16:1, straight side for PP and about 400 to 415 gns. Need to order the mold this week but it’s a long wait for delivery.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Thanks, Richard

Cartridge and Twist? Freebore?
You don't want to have the wrong LENGTH bullet for your rifle.

Arnie, my apologies for not answering sooner. Got my mold from BACo #393410. Diameter as cast is .393” and it’s 1.44” overall length. Have not used the bullet yet but will post the info.

I'm going to give BACo's 380gr (casting at 377 for me) DEPP bullet a try at the SE Regional 600yd match in October. I'll stick with greasers for the BPCR match.
