Grafs has or did have some. At one time their shipping was slow but last time I ordered some it was sent within a day or 2

If enough of us were to pressure starline to start making 30-40 brass that would awesome. Or if Remington would start making it again

Don't hold your breathe. Am sure more folks have done the same for 40-65 & 45-70 and has not done any good. When I spoke to them last week about their 2.125" 38-55 cases they offered nothing positive. No back orders, no idea of 'when'. Now that they are part of a large corporation they only care about the bottom line. And their bottom line means we will be paying considerably more. Lots of cases needed to support Ukraine (which is OK with me).

I was not aware that Starline was owned by a large corporation. They advertise themselves as being "family owned". Can you enlighten me.

Oops. My bad. It was my understanding that Starline was purchased by Clarus, the company that purchased Sierra bullets. But, I cannot find any information on same, so appears that Starline is still family owned.TexasMac wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 1:23 pmGlenn,SSShooter wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 4:31 amDon't hold your breathe. Wish we could go back and modify older posts so could correct my error, but that's not available on this forum. Thanks for pointing that out.

Re: Need Brass
Starline is/was owned by Sierra Bullets.
If fact, Starline is just across the street from Sierra Bullets.

What is the difference between the Hornady 30-40 brass and the Remington 30-40 brass. Does one hold more powder than the other? How about thickness at the mouth?

I ordered 250 pieces of it just to see what it’s about.
