comparing two gun oils
Has anyone had experience with Old West Snake oil and the new oil SPG has come out with? Primarily interested in how it looks on stocks.

Re: comparing two gun oils
I have used Old West Snake Oil as a wood and metal protectorate oil for years. It is blended with waxes to maximize the strength or time that it stays in place. I have never used it on bare wood, just finished with whatever was the oil/varnish in place. I wholehartedly recommend this product as a conditioning or field preservative. Arnie - glad to be of assistance this time around.

Thanks Stoneke, I will have to get some to try on a few stocks that have gotten a little grungy over years of use.

For stocks, I use straight Sweet Almond oil. Just a dab and it covers great. Wood looks awesome.
