Bryan Youngberg was 2nd or 3rd. Gullo had a 44/48. Think there was 3 or so with 43 settled by offhand count. Saturday was hot and sunny very little wind 98- 99 degrees. sunday was cool 60-65 with a nw 18- 25 mph wind. About 507 entrants and 475 that shot....bobw

Danica Gamble a 14 year old junior, shot a 43 with 6 offhand and was second overall.

Soon as I got back to the motel room the skies opened up and dumped...wish they could get the door prize thing over with sooner. And NO..it ain't the scorekeeper's fault, he's on my team and was done 90 minutes before they started passing out hardware...

AND, she did this shooting a 38-55 winchester highwall made in Japan, using a grease grove bullet out of range lead with blackhorn 209 powder. This shows that you dont have to have the top equipment to shoot good. She shoots to have fun and that is all that matters.

Yes I agree, shooting air rife I think has helped us all here, if nothing else it has prepared us for getting beat by Danica.
