Early Shiloh Question
I took in a local gun show this weekend and saw a 74 in 45-120. The action was stamped Shiloh and the barrel Old Reliable. It had a fireing pin return spring visible at front of striker part of transfer bar. Is this normal and would this be a one piece transfer bar and pin? Was this gun built during the split up since the sei.# dosn't begin with "B". Barrel made by Shiloh or who ? Would this gun also have more freebore than more recent models? "So many questions so little time" Thank's for any input Brain

dont know when it was made but if it has old reliable on it it was made at c, sharps as that is his trademark look down the barrel from the action and if it is freebored or "throated for paperpatches" it will have an approxamatley 1/2 inch step in front of the chamber before the lands start that will be smooth, hope this helps ..................Dean
