Years ago there was anrticle in a Gun Digest about Sharps Ammunition I think it was in the early sixties but it has been a long time. Does anyone know what year it was. I am trying to find out so I can buy one. I called Krause publication but they were of no help.
Thanks

All I could find in that era was 'Sharps Rifle Company Ammunition' by Graham Burnside in Gun Digest No 11, 1957.
About three pages of text and two and a half pages of photos of 59 cartridges. Not as much detail as you might like but the pictures of all those different cartridges, most with paper patched bullets, sure are impressive.
Preceded by an article "The Gettysburg Sharps' by Paul Matthews complete with directions for rolling paper cartridges for a '63 with provenance from that battle.
