10 reasons paperpatch is better
You have somewhere to write the load data
You can use different colored paper depending on the holiday
None of those distracting grooves to disturb the airflow
You can identify other PP users by sight, no need for a secret handshake
Endless discussion about your ammo instead of shooting it
No confusion on which end of the bullet goes into the case
People don't make fun of you for spending all day discussing stationairy (that you know of)
Because you want your ammunition to be historically correct in your plastic MTM case
When the paper fragments catch fire down range, you are half way to a good barbecue
Diapered bullets just look cool

Then why aren't you using them

And #11 when you shoot good scores it cause's lots of profits for the drug companies due to the amount of headache pills sold to greaser guys.
But the writing data on the patch thing don't work good if you treat the exposed patch with jojoba oil or such.

Awww....this is so rich! Leave it to Bryan to have a jocular moment, however brief it may have been. I know he could have easily tripled the number of qualifying characteristics. He reminds us that in genuine jest there is truth.

Re: 10 reasons paperpatch is better
well if you are going to put yourself off the podium by using a 40/2.5, why not really nail the lid on the coffin by using pp.

Well, the 1880's shooters put them selves on the podium at 800 yards with the factory standard mid range load of
40 70 SS and 65 grains with a (wait for it) PP bullet!
back at cha......

What Kurt said, what Lumpy said. BTW start saving for your next one because Shilohs are like women, the more the merrier

Bryany, you forgot: Because every moment on the firing line is like a holiday because of all the confetti the PP shooters throw up everytime they pull the trigger.

Yeah, if it just weren't for all those pesky national wins and records that keep happening with greasers, although there is little question they are just plain homely compared to the sleek and clean looking pp bullets.

O.K. I'm going to try it and see if it makes me look down my nose at all the greaser guys.
