I appreciate all of the great information, a lot to try and digest. I hope to get more trigger time as fall progresses,
although I love shooting the Sharps a lot, my job as Grandpa is top priority, that other place I have to go to to pay for all of this is still currently needed as well.

What you see on my target I cant do every time out. I have put 10 in groups like you see but I just cant do it every time. We all have good and bad days. Those are just 180 yards but I have put shots during practice at 600 you can cover with your hand also and the next day I have a problem staying on the iron.
OE and as well as Swiss have different compression levels, heavy and light I found working up ladder loads, you just have to do some load work to find what works.
It's not just compression that will get you the accuracy your looking for. Case prep is one big idem in load development.

Here are a couple more with zero compression using 91 gr 2F OE with a .06 polly wad on the powder and a 505 gr DDE bullet I converted seated 140" in the case shot with my 25# 35" barrel..44-2.6 Shiloh.
The top group was ignited with a Mag LR primer and the bottom with a fed 210 LR match primer.
That is the tightest group I have ever shot with all of my rifles.
The taped holes were shot using 1.5 Swiss.
It doesn't take heavy compression using OE powder.
I pretty much stick with the 2F in all my calibers.

Kurt, that is some good shooting with an interesting caliber.

The rifle was sand bagged and it had a scope mounted on it.
That rifle was chambered with my reamer that was cloned from an original rifle that was used in the Creedmoor matches. It won't except a GG bullet the neck is that tight.

Thank you for sharing. I know for sure I am still making mistakes in my loading. I definitely need to go through and check case lengths again, it has been 2-3 loadings since I checked/trimmed.
