Patience. It is more than likely in a container ship off LA waiting to be unloaded. There are probably 34 other ships in front of it, also waiting to be unloaded.

Just talked to Roy. He says the books are in route, but the ship will off load in Texas, instead of Los Angeles. :?
This requires a trip through the Panama Chanel.
His best guess now is February for distribution.

Thanks for the update, Lumpy! I’m much looking forward to Vol 3 and have decided it will be here when it gets here. As a (satisfied) Shiloh customer and a (somewhat less satisfied) remote Alaska resident, I’ve learned to live with the basic principle of “don’t be in a big hurry for anything” lol.

Spoke to Roy this week. Indicated that Vol. 4 would be at the printers a year from now. It will feature more of the rarer models, all modern made copies, the Sharps and Hankins, etc... The good news is that he will be reprinting Vol. 2 at least and probably all other volumes after Vol. 4 is published.

Has anyone heard any updates lately about vol #3?

Thanks,

Doug

A week or so ago they were expecting the books to be in port in Texas and on their way to Arizona.

Well I've probably missed the obvious clues ( certainly not the first or last time for that :( ) but wondered if someone might be able to point me in the direction so I can place an order ? I hesitated too long on Vol. 2...and missed that round but I'd like to jag Vol.3 this time and possibly Volume 2 down the line if it gets a reprint. Having all four would be great but these two would be priorities. I did email Mr Marcot some years back making enquiries but appear to have lost that email address. Hoping I havent left my run too late... again.

Thanks Nick. Sent off an email this morning and hopefully get some clarification of my options within a few days. Appreciate the assistance. :) With standard mail taking up to about 2-3 months to get across the Pacific I was hoping for an 'on line' option but it may not be that easy.

Just out of curiosity, can someone post a photo of the table of contents for Vol 1 and Vol 2?

Got an email from Roy yesterday and was informed that he's expecting the shipment to arrive in Huston this Thursday, 10 March and will be working to mail the book out.

Just a quick update. Thanks again to Nick and Deadeye for your feedback. Email back from Mr Marcot in less than 24 hrs. Looks like I have a copy waiting for me when I touch down in June.
Thanks to all for your assistance and of course Mr Marcot for his help also. :D
