Congrats! Love the wood. I thought that was a Long Range Express. Looks just like my rifle except for the scope.

That's MVA's Series 3000 & measures 28" in length.

How much elevation can you get on that scope setup? Enough for 1000 yards?

I marvel every time I see one of those rifles. I don't think there's a factory production anywhere in the states that can equal their wood/metal fit and finish.

Honestly, I don't know but Cheryl at MVA said I was good to go. Frankly, my eyes aren't but I'll have a fine time trying!

Are those Creedmoor mounts on your 28" scope. For reference, my .45-90 has used between 0.700" and 0.740" elevation for 1000 yards depending on weather and elevation. I mostly use a relatively light load of 78gr of Swiss 1.5 and a 535gr Money bullet.

That's a beautiful rifle by the way :-).

Chris.

Really gorgeous rifle/wood/case colors.
All this reminds me of a bunch of women fawning over a new baby.....

Yes, sir, Chris, they are, indeed, Creedmoor mounts. Thanks for the kind words.

Congratulations on a fine, fine gun investment! Tomorrow will be the 2-year mark for my order and am now getting excited about receiving it some time soon.
