Leading can be sort of quiet in the back row and then jump up and bite you hard
That’s a good reason to keep a pint of pure gum spirits of turpentine around.
Then occasionally just for kicks and grins run a turn soaked patch down the barrrel followed with a dry just to make sure there’s no lead in there and it will also do a fair job on getting any carbon fouling your choice in bore solvent may have missed
