NRA (lapierre & cronies) Troubles

Post by SSShooter »

Hopefully, we can finally get rid of lapierre and his cronies and get the NRA back to basics.

Theyve been dead to me for quite few years now. I belong to GOA, and a few other worth while 2a organizations now.

And yet after all these years of corruption, and illegal activities, Wayne and his buddies continue their dictatorship without anybody leaving, or being prosecuted. And we NRA members continue to be the real losers in all this!

In the latest issue of the Rifleman they speak or the history of the NRA.
I saw no mention, may have missed it, of the birth of the NRA through the Creedmoor Matches and the Irish Team Challenge. None.
Their editors could not possibly not know of those matches so why was the origin without mention?

Three guesses and the first two don't count.

They don’t care about BP shooting.

I wonder how many of us have ever spoken to someone who works for them. Not a fundraiser mind you, an actual employee of the NRA. My guess is, not many or maybe none of us at all.

Maybe Johnny v but every time I see an nra membership sign up table anywhere I politely ask if Lapierre is still in charge? Then I give them both barrels and tell them not 1 dime until that sob is gone. Pretty damn sure I am not the only one who tells them that either . bobw

I have no doubt about the accuracy of your statement Bob! "Holding back" is not your strong suit LOL....

Here's what I send them when I get their beg letters, don't cost me any postage either....

What? You don't want that 'made in china' bag or knife?

That’s great Jonny!

I made the mistake 5 years ago of becoming a member. All I get from them is begging for donations to pay for Mr. Oooh la la’s latest embezzlements. I think I’ll do the same and send their little begging letter back postage paid just like Jonny did. I don’t need Chinese pocket knives or Chinese duffel bags. Maybe Biden wants them - 10% for the big guy - he and Hunter seem to love China.

So glad that the Whittington Center is independent of the NRA, as I keep my annual membership there, but not a dime to the NRA until the "swamp" creatures are gone! I let them know this on every phone call.

I did way back when the NRA convention was in Seattle, Wa. I think maybe 2004 or about then? Of course back then we didn't know about all the corruption as it was still a secret.

I do the same thing that JonnyV does when I get their request for funds. Most of my contributions go to the 2nd Amendment Foundation.
