New to BP. Lee Shaver just rechambered a 45-70 to a 45-110. (Great service). I see a lot of comments about rdnk and Mr. Wasserburger and their experience and loads but I have not seen any loads.
I need a generic BP load for the 45-110 for a novice

All help appreciated

Thanks

Have you tried using this site's "search" feature for rdnck, Kenney Wasserburger, 45-110, 45 2 7/8?

The information is out there, 'ya need ta' do some digging for it.

I also believe that that the following on line BPCR Reloading primer has some pet loads:

http://www.ssbpcrc.co.uk/Resources/Intr ... oading.pdf

If you don't cast, here's a link to an on-line casting primer:

http://www.longrangebpcr.com/

(Click on "ammunition", next "bullet casting", & finally "8-phase cycle.")

You claimed that you are a "novice". Novice as in BPCR reloading w/ Black Powder or reloading & shooting for a 'One-Ten'?

If a novice the BPCR reloading w/ BP, I urge to read the above links. It might also behoove you to look @ the following thread for additional information:

Novice as in new to the 110. I have used Wolfe Book on reloading the original 45-70 and have loaded 45-70 for reporduction and orginals with BP.
For the 110 I am using 550 paper patched bullets with starline 2.6 stretched to 2.8
From most of the info I hae seen I need to use 1F which I have in Swiss.

I am still confused on some of the details - wads or grease cookies??? stuff like that.

Thanks fo the info I will check the sites
