Bullet expansion

Big Nosed Kate has been bloodied this morning. A cull buck off a ranch in West Texas. There was some concern about whether the 522gr Lyman round nose would expand, and I think it did.

Entry wound was not too impressive:

Here was the exit. A bit more like it.

The shot was taken at just under 100yds and he was dead right there.

Scott, impressive exit wound for a round nose bullet. What alloy was the bullet?
