Cajun BPCR Hunters!

Post by RMulhern »

Two Cajun BPCR hunters from Mammoo, La. hired a pilot to fly them to Canada to hunt dem moose. They bagged six. As they started loading the plane for the return trip home, the pilot tells them the plane can take only three moose.

The two Coonasses objected strongly stating;

"Las year us shot six dem mooses and the pilot let us put 'em all on bode an he got da same plane as you got!"

Reluctantly, the pilot gave in and all six were loaded. Unfortunately, even on full power the little plane couldn't handle the load and went down a few minutes after takeoff.

Climbing out of the wreck, Boudreaux asked Pierre "Enny idea where us is?"

Pierre replied;

"I think we bout 60 or 50 yards frum where us hit las year!!"

Sharpsman,

I hear ya.

Do you get much of a "off season", or do you pretty much fly year round, when weather permits?

Right now we've got 4 birds in Texas/Oklahoma with another on the way and one in Florida! I don't do the fires; row crops was my area of expertise but I've retired as of my season ending this past year! After dang nigh onto 40 years and 24,000 hrs. at the stick....I'll let the kids do it from now on!!

I'm gonna shoot BP, enjoy the grandkids, see more of Colorado, Wyoming, Montana....and be one sorry son-of-a-gun from now on out!! :lol: :lol:

Sharpsman,

Congrats on your retirement. Sounds like you have a great plan for spending it.
24,000 hrs is a bunch. I'll bet there's some good stories there.
